Let’s Talk PR & More! has been awarded a Press Club of Long Island Media Award. The weekly radio show, founded and hosted by Sherry Goldman, was named Best Radio Show in the category of health, science & technology
for a show discussing how AI is changing how we communicate and influencing information, disinformation, and misinformation. The radio show airs on WRHU-FM, which is heard at 88.7 FM in the Greater New York City/Long Island region, as well as on the station’s livestream. The award was presented to Sherry at the PCLI media awards dinner honoring the best in Long Island journalism on June 5th.
The 2025 PCLI award is the second PCLI award recognizing Let’s Talk PR & More, which just celebrated being on the air for two years. Last year, the show won the PCLI award for Best Radio Show in the category of politics and government, for a show discussing how local governments use public relations to support their efforts and constituents.
“I’m so honored to receive this award and recognition by the Press Club of Long Island. I created Let’s Talk PR & More to be a forum to discuss what is important to the PR industry and PR practitioners, as well as to showcase the importance and impact of public relations on businesses, organizations, people, issues, and other disciplines. This award given by journalists reinforces that I am discussing topics that matter in today’s changing communications environment,” said Sherry Goldman.
Let’s Talk PR & More! airs weekly, on Mondays at 5pm ET, on WRHU-FM and livestreams on most streaming devices and online at www.wrhu.org. It is also available as a podcast on all major podcast sites, including Apple podcasts, Spotify, iHeart, and Amazon, as well as on Goldman Communications Group’s website, www.goldmanpr.net/podcast. Each show covers one topic and features one guest, discussing a topic about or related to public relations and/or a discipline or issue that intersects with public relations. Guests have included key leaders from public relations, the media, and intersecting disciplines, including advertising, marketing, and AI. The show just celebrated its two-year anniversary on the air.
